Please read this carefully. When you make a holiday reservation with us (whether by e-mail, telephone or post) these conditions are deemed to have been accepted by you.
Amber & Jasmine Cottages – Terms & Conditions
Deposit Payment of Balance
A non-returnable deposit of 30% of the holiday cost is required at time of
booking, the balance being due one month prior to your arrival date.
Cancellation
If you have to cancel your booking, every effort will be made to re-let. If
successful, the deposit less £40 for each weeks booking will be refunded.
If unsuccessful the deposit will be retained.
If we have to cancel your booking for any reason you will be refunded the
full amount paid at that date.
Cancellation insurance is recommended – an example of this type of insurance
together with an application form can be downloaded HERE.
Availability
The hiring contract is made on the understanding that the property will be
available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event the property is not
available through events arising out of control of the owners, (e.g. flood,
fire, weather damage, theft, criminal damage, drought or interruption of utility
etc) then the owners will advise the hirer of such circumstances as early
as possible and will refund all monies paid in full – but the hirer
will have no further claim against the owners.
Number of Occupants
The number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed
the number agreed at time of booking.
Damage
The hirer is responsible for the accommodation and its contents and undertakes
to take all reasonable care of it and to leave it in the same condition as
found. Any breakages or damage should be reported and the owners reserve the
right to charge for any non-trivial damage.
Accidents, Injury and Personal Property
The owners shall have no liability for the death or personal injury to you
or to any member of your party. Baggage and personal belongings are at hirers
risk at all times. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to
or loss of hirer’s vehicles and contents.
Smoking
The accommodation is non-smoking – please do not smoke inside.
Pets
Regret no pets are accepted.
Problems or complaints
Every effort has been made to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday and to
date we have had no complaints or problems! If you feel you have cause for
complaint please contact us immediately to give us a chance to resolve it.
